RIP French pop icon Francoise Hardy, 80. Born in Paris, she shot to fame in the ‘60’s. She is celebrated as a national treasure, one of the greatest figures in French music ever. She is one of the best-selling music artists in French history, more than 7.6 million records sold. Despite her beauty, she was uncomfortable on the screen and has only 16 credits as an actress. She wrote books on astrology and dabbled in fiction. She was the epitome of style. She is the mother of singer/jazz guitarist Thomas Dutronc.
