Leftists pols believe rioting, burning, looting and violence by their constituents is okay, all other protests insurrection.
This morning, talk radio host Mark Simone said that the only cut in spending Dems ever approved was Defund the Police. Unfortunately, they’d take that cut and give to constituents who would squander it through useless programs.

I recently read an article on money-laundering and still don’t understand how it works. I have no idea how cryptocurrencies work, and now comes this headline from NYP: “Bit bozos: Couple busted in NYC for alleged $4.5 billion crypto laundering scheme.” … And here’s something else I don’t understand, from an NYP article by Brook Kato, edited by yours truly: “A couple in India wed as avatars entirely in the metaverse. The digital event allowed more than 3000 guests worldwide to join the celebration using their own avatars. Headline from newsmax.com: “12 US Cities Broke Annual Homicide Records During Deadly 2021.” Apparently, other places just aren’t trying hard enough. And in a similar vein, SMH headline from foxnews.com: “14-year-old girl charged in DC shooting on Pennsylvania Ave.”
Aging is a new experience. The latest aspect I’ve noticed is that I hardly have any hair left on my legs. I like it, although I’d rather it had disappeared from my chest.
Plenty of action at the floating book shop on this gorgeous day, but most of it was donations. My thanks to the three kind folks who delivered a dozen titles between them, and to young Busker, who bought Shakespeare’s Henry V; and to Alice, who purchased Big Bad Wolf by James Patterson; and to the lady and gentleman who each took home two kids books.
