Check out the cojones on this woman. In the background of this Russian newscast stands reporter Marina Ovsyannikova. According to an article at foxnews.com by Cortney O’Brien, the sign translates as: “…Stop the war. Don’t believe propaganda. They are lying to you here.” Kudos, lady.

Sad headline from nypost.com: “Amazon relocating workers from Seattle office after violent crime surge.” “Defund the police!” cry the emasculated.

RIP pro wrestling legend Scott Hall, 63, who succumbed to a series of heart attacks following hip surgery. His most famous incarnation was Razor Ramon — The Bad Guy. He participated in one of the best matches ever, vs Shawn Michaels at Summer Slam 1995. I know it is staged, the outcome predetermined, but the stunt work is unbelievable. Here it is in its entirety, running time just short of 30 minutes, preceded by a 15-second ad:

Another great day for selling stuff curbside. My thanks to the lovely young woman with a charming accent who overcompensated me for a book on grammar, and to the gentleman who bought two books in Russian; and to Movie Buff, who purchased Lock Every Door by Riley Sager, Dai-Sho by Marc Olden, and O’Hara’s Choice by Leon Uris, published posthumously in 2005. He passed away at 78 in 2003. Speaking of cojones, at 17, following the attack on Pearl Harbor, Uris dropped out of school, joined the Marines, and saw action at Guadalcanal and Tarawa. In 1944, suffering suffering dengue fever, malaria and asthma, he was sent stateside. He missed the Battle of Saipan, where his battalion suffered heavy losses. (Facts from Wiki, in my own words.)
