Politics as usual in this nypost.com headline: “Execs who helped Cuomo smear accuser work at firm making millions from state contracts.”

If the left holds onto power, they will continue to look for ways to steal from hard working Americans. Snippet from an NYP editorial” “… congressional Democrats are ‘aghast that hundreds of Americans have IRAs worth more than $25 million, and nearly 30,000 have accounts with balances topping $5 million.’” How dare they take risks and earn money!

Unsurprising headline from foxnews.com: “Mainstream media silent while Obama dances maskless in a crowded tent. Guests reportedly told to delete images and videos of the party.”

It seems the slime in Chicago are turning their guns on the police as well: one killed, another in critical condition.

RIP college coaching legend Bobby Bowden, 91. A lifer, he was the head man at South Georgia St., Howard College, West Virginia and Florida St., where he reigned from 1976–2009. Overall, his record at the highest level was 377–129–4, 21–10–1 in bowls. He is fourth in lifetime wins, all divisions. His Seminole teams won the national championship in ’93 and ’99, and 14 ACC titles. He was the Walter Camp Coach of the Year in 1991. The Bobby Bowden National Collegiate Coach of the Year Award recognizes one man each year with unmatched success on and off of the field in the same attributes that Bowden showed throughout his career: perseverance, attitude, integrity and determination. Each year the Fellowship of Christian Athletes presents an award in Bowden’s name to a college football player for his achievements on the field, in the classroom and in the community. In 2011 Bowden received the Children’s Champion Award for Leadership Development from the charitable organization Children’s Hunger Fund. He has either authored or contributed to nine books. Awesome, sir. (Facts from Wiki) I’ll leave the negatives to NY Post sports media critic Phil Mushnick.

RIP TV mainstay the lovely Markie Post, only 70, who succumbed to cancer. A California girl, her career spanned 1978–2019. There are 76 credits under her name at IMDb, but that doesn’t begin to tell the story. She was in 65 episodes alone of The Fall Guy, 159 of Night Court, 54 of Hearts Afire, at least 13 of four other series, and she made a ton of one-shot guest appearances on popular shows and TV movies. She had such a positive aura. Well done, madam. Thank you.

About an hour into today’s session of the floating book shop it began to drizzle. Ten minutes later I decided to pack up and invest the time waiting for a parking space to open up at my regular nook. The prime spot was open as I arrived, so the day wasn’t a total loss. Also, I’m right where a woman left her things on Friday, so, if she comes back for them, she should have no trouble finding me.
