Generally, I believe most landlords get a bad rap. From NYP: “I dropped out of college to start my own cleaning business — I already bought my first home.” Kudos. May others follow suit in various endeavors.

Since my hope to do a serious interview with porn star Sara Jay didn’t pan out, I decided to do a piece of creative non-fiction about the experience, changing her name. Last night it dawned on me that it was the wrong approach. I will make it a short story, fiction. Have fun with it, doofus! My morning walk flew by as my mind sorted through phrases and thoughts. It will help fill the time I usually devote to the Anti-Inflation Book Shop, which remains on the shelf due to the icy wind. My frame of mind is so much better when I’m writing. Unfortunately, my creativity is nearly maxed out. There will soon be a print version of the By the Numbers collection. I will not include a thanks to Sara Jay — she might ask for compensation!

I popped into CVS to see if cereal was on sale. It was as if the clock had been turned back to pre-inflation. I bought Special K Chocolate Delight and Nature Valley dark chocolate bars for $1.98 each. Unfortunately, Pepsi wasn’t on sale.

The wind is supposed to diminish tomorrow, but clouds are rolling in, which means the Anti-Inflation will be a show time decision — fie! A mild weekend is expected. After that it’s supposed to be even colder than this week. I really miss global warming.
