Conditions were not bad for a December day. My thanks to one of the lovely lady library volunteers, who led a gentleman to the floating book shop who proceeded to buy six titles in Russian; and to Gordie, who bought Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto by Mark Levin; and to Alice, who purchased A Conspiracy of Bones by Kathy Reichs; and to my Constant Benefactress, who insisted on paying for Techniques of Healthy Cooking by The Culinary Institute of America, despite having donated four mysteries and a pair of Rockports; and to the woman who took home two scented candles, which my CB had delivered on Saturday. I am blessed.
