This should be interesting. Headline from nypost.com: “Jailhouse crock: Ghislaine Maxwell writing tell-all in jail to combat ‘misinformation’ about ties to Jeffrey Epstein.”

Better late than never. From NYP: “Back in the swing: NYC’s return-to-office trend gains steam, hits nearly 70% of pre-pandemic level.”

From NYP: “NYC pickpocket notches 46th bust as frustrated cops publicly question whether ‘this one will be’ a deterrent.” Remember the old term from movies and TV: “Three-time loser”?

Headline from foxnews.com: “‘SNL’ mocked for their ‘woke smugness’ after claiming Trump made up the term ‘de-banking’.” According to the article by Lindsay Kornick, “…de-banking, or de-risking, is a real term used to refer to banks closing people or organizations’ accounts, sometimes without appeal, after perceiving them to be a legal, financial or reputational threat.”

Only one more game for those who believe Taylor Swift is a distraction to the Chiefs to be vindicated.

Given the blustery gloom, today’s session of the floating book shop was very surprising. My thanks to those who donated, swapped and bought. The incoming dwarfed the outgoing. Here’s what sold: four books and one CD in Russian, three DVDs, including Mean Girls (2004); and a pictorial on The Holy Grail, not to be confused with this, photo from GI, “Ni! Ni! Ni!”:
