Headline from nypost.com: “Tech AI ‘artist’ pulls in millions — and may ‘create more interesting work than humans,’ co-creator says.” Here is one of Botto’s works, photo from Google Images:
Another new term. From an NYP article by Brooke Steinberg, edited by yours truly: “Smishing” is a popular scam that includes fraudulent text messages indicating package tracking, a form of phishing designed to steal personal information such as credit card and Social Security numbers, and account passwords. It specifically involves a text message or phone number.
Who knew? From The World’s Largest Collection of Pyramids Isn’t in Egypt — And It’s Twice the Size by Arezki Amiri at msm.com: “Just south of the famous Nile Valley lies Sudan, home to a staggering 220 to 255 pyramids — more than double the number in Egypt, built by the ancient Kingdom of Kush.” Photo from GI:

I gave the Anti-Inflation Book Shop a shot, although I was not optimistic, as people are scrambling for the holidays. Still, it was better than being inside all day and it was fun observing kids throwing snow at their parents. Conditions were tough, the sunshine not arriving until I was already maxed out regarding the cold. No sales, but my thanks to the woman who brought me a chocolate bar, since devoured.
I decided to treat myself to Chinese takeout. I had shrimp with lobster sauce. It was good but can’t measure up to the days of the seven fishes Christmas Eve meal. It was beautiful out, so pleasant compared to the past three days. I hope it continues.
