France, Israel, Chicago, Brooklyn
Old school. It will be tough to beat this headline out of France from nypost.com: “HAVING NUN OF IT: Nun tackles environmental protester attempting to stop construction of religious center.” Kudos, Sister. According to the article by Lindsay Kornick: “Following the confrontation, the nuns resumed a more peaceful stance, singing while blocking the surrounding protesters.” Photo from Google Images:
“This is Emily Litella with an editorial on Israel’s heinous bombing of the medical facility that killed 500…’

When is it going to stop? Headline from foxnews.com: “Stunning video shows Chicago mob attack Tesla as crime rages in Dem-run city.”
This surprised me, from FN: “Quentin Tarantino visited Israeli troops in Israel to ‘boost IDF morale’: ‘Bright moment during dark time’.” According to the article by Gabriel Hays: “Tarantino has been living in Tel Aviv for the past four years with his wife, Israeli singer Daniella Pick.” They recently had a daughter. I had no idea. Photo from GI:
I’ve come up with an ending for my latest story. It occurred to me this morning. I like it, but suspect fans of the speculative genre will be disappointed. I’ve done 15 pages and crammed a lot between margins and at the top and bottom. I not sure if it will reach novella length.
Another solid day for the floating book shop. My thanks to the lovely young woman who bought The Bookshop Murder by Merryn Allingham, Comfort and Joy by Kristen Hannah and The Handmaid and the Carpenter by Elizabeth Berg; and to my Constant Benefactress, who purchased Lasher by Ann Rice for a friend; and to the elderly woman who selected Shadow Zone by Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen; and to the lady and gentleman who each took home a book in Russian.
