Among today’s celebrations, it’s National Dunce Day. I qualify occasionally, maybe even frequently.
Why the heck haven’t Arizona and Nevada finished counting votes? Are its leaders embarrassed to be so far behind all the other states? They should be.

Beautiful but windy day. My thanks to the burly guy who bought three animated Superman DVDs, and to the gentleman who purchased a book in Russian by a personal friend who now lives in Israel; and to the kind folks who retrieved stuff that had been blown away. I again left two bags of Russian hardcovers hidden in the garden.
