It was a gorgeous day to do business curbside and the floating book shop had its best session of 2024. My thanks to those who donated and bought. Here’s what sold: eight books and seven DVDs in Russian, two issues of Poetry magazine; a Shrek Play Station 2 DVD; a Greek dictionary; Simply Delicious Fish by Darina Allen; 365 Ways to Cook Chicken by Cheryl Sedaker; a Japanese photo pictorial; Dialogues on Art by Edouard Roditi; By Order of the President by W.E.B. Griffin; two copies of Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson; Between the Dark and the Daylight: And 27 More of the Best Crime and Mystery Stories of the Year 2008; and a modern Russian novel titled The Return, on which I was unable to find any info. I am blessed.
