Karma? Headline from nypost.com: “Rep. Adam Schiff’s luggage swiped from car in San Francisco, forcing him to attend fancy dinner in casual wear.” Whatever the wardrobe, he would have no trouble stealing and bamboozling.

Headline from foxnews.com: “Liberal mega-donor George Soros allegedly linked to anti-Israel agitators across US.” Photo from Google Images:

RIP Moody Blues co-founder, keyboardist, Mike Pinder, 82, the last surviving member of the original five-man lineup. Born in Birmingham England, he was renowned for his technological contributions to rock, most notably the development of the Mellotron. At first the band was successful doing R&B covers, including the 1965 hit Go Now, which hit #1 in the UK and #10 in the USA. It started to find its own style when Justin Hayward and John Lodge came aboard in ’66. Pinder sang lead on his own compositions, which were not the group’s most popular work, at least outside of Europe. He remained with the band through nine albums, 1978. He had already relocated to Malibu and released a solo album. He worked as a consultant to the Atari computer corporation, primarily on music synthesis. He remained on the sidelines until the mid ‘90’s, when he released two albums on his own label. Married twice, he was a father of three. Facts from Wiki, photo from GI:

This is why it’s so hard to make common sense changes to the government largesse to which people become addicted and which foment a sense of entitlement. Buenos Aires, protest against austerity measures proposed by the president, Javier Milei. I’m rooting for him, but it will be a miracle if he is allowed to stay in office long. Then again, it was a miracle he was elected. There comes a point when a country is too far gone to be changed. I believe that has occurred in the USA as well. Hope I’m wrong. Another perfect day to do curbside business. My thanks to the kind folks who donated a bunch of media, and to The Quiet Man who bought nine Trisha Yearwood CDs; and to Wolf, who purchased a mix of music and movies; and to the Latino restaurant worker, who overcompensated me for the same; and to the woman who selected Danielle Steel’s No Greater Love — in Russian.
