What would a day be without more of the Quid Pro Joe follies? Headline from nypost.com: “Hunter Biden’s lawyers threatened to put president on stand against own DOJ: report.” Warm up, Michelle, leftists are restless.
From NYP: “Boston couple’s dog eats passport days before wedding in Italy.” Must be teachers.
She hasn’t named names. From NYP: “Ghislaine Maxwell revered by inmates for not working with feds while in worst part of jail: ‘She didn’t crack’.” I’ve said it so many times — this world is so damn fascinating.
Caption from a foxnews.com article by Maria Lencki: “A Burger King cook, Kevin Ford, who hasn’t missed work in 27 years, received over $420,000 in retirement donations following a viral video.” It came from a GoFundMe page started by his daughter. Kudos to the gentleman and donors. Photo from Google Images:
RIP Ron Cephas Jones, 66, who succumbed to pulmonary problems. Born in Paterson, his career spanned 1994 to the present. There are 46 titles under his name at IMDb, a figure that doesn’t begin to tell his story. He appeared in 45 episodes alone of This Is Us, for which he received four Emmy nominations, winning two. He was in 28 of Truth Be Told, twelve of Luke Cage, nine of Mr. Robot, eight of Law & Order: Organized Crime, eight of Looking for Alaska, and he did guest shots on many primetime series, and was part of the 1998 TV movie version of A Raisin in the Sun. On the big screen he appeared in Woody Allen’s Sweet and Lowdown (1999) and Of Mice and Men (2014). He also did theater. His final appearance will be posthumous, a portrayal of Elijah Muhammad in the TV series Genius: MLK/X. Well done, Sir. Here he is with his daughter Jasmine, also an Emmy winner, 2020 Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series #Freerayshawn. Photo from GI:
Not much action at the floating book shop on this glorious day. My thanks to the gentleman who bought two books in Italian, and to the one who purchased To the Nines by Janet Evanovich; and to the woman who took home a beautiful pictorial on Cocktails. Skoal.
