Hot Stuff on a Hot Day

Although second quarter GDP was better than predicted, 2.1%, it’s still a long way from healthy. Yes, the economy is better than it was under the previous administration, but maybe the experts who said that an annual growth rate of 4% was no longer possible were right. Given all the government burdens, maybe even sound policy can move the needle to where it needs to be.

For a reason not disclosed, John Dillinger’s body is going to be exhumed from Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis. It’s buried under two and a half tons of concrete, as, back in the day, there were reports that “ghouls” might steal the body.
