Irony. Headline from newsmax.com: “Calif. Lithium Battery Plant Fire Raises Air Concerns.” A product championed by environmentalists.
From NM: “Entitlement Spending Fuels Debt Crisis, Threatening Economy.” Let’s hope DT will bring spending in line. Other than that, only complete financial collapse would change the situation.
While Scorpion was in commercial last night, I rooted around with the remote control and landed on a Lucy Worsley PBS show on witches. She mentioned sealing the pact, which was done, according to the Compendium Maleficarum by the monk Francesco Maria Guazzo, by kissing the devil’s butt. Ewwww! Talk about perfect timing. Package delivery has changed since the internet took off. Here’s a message from the top of a recent Amazon order of mine: “Arriving today by 10 PM.” I assume the person will be working OT.
Here’s another pick from the aforementioned article:
Let’s hope this is bull. Headline from foxnews.com: “Children exposed to higher fluoride levels found to have lower IQs, study reveals.”
From FN: “Mother who started nut butter company in basement is living ‘American Dream’.” Lea Hurley, mom of four, is a cancer survivor from the appropriately named Noblesville, Indiana. The product, American Dream, has surpassed one million is web sales. Each month she ships one hundred packages of goodies to vets and first-responders. The ingredients are roasted nuts, whey protein, sugar, salt, flavorings and might also include chocolate chips, caramel or gluten-free cookies. Kudos, Madam. Photo from GI:
From FN: “Thousands of left-wing demonstrators descend on Washington to protest Trump inauguration.” I’ve got one thing to say: “Nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah.”
My latest story, 23 and Counting, is 98% done. It’s been so much fun to write. I just hope it isn’t one of those pieces, post finalization, that sprouts thoughts I should have mentioned. Then again, that’s true of all my works and, I imagine, all literature. I’ve said it many times. No book is ever finished.
And a third pic:
The threat of rain forced the Anti-Inflation Book Shop to a nearby viaduct. My thanks to the gentleman who overcompensated me for an SAT Practice Book.
