Headline from foxnews.com: “Arsonist accidentally lights self on fire while attempting to set church ablaze.” Cue the music: “Instant Karma’s gonna get you/ Gonna knock you right on the head…” (JohnLennon/Yoko Ono) Photo from GI:

This morning I spotted a headline about a doctor’s warning and wish I hadn’t clicked on it. He believes showerheads should be soaked once a month in white vinegar to kill bacteria that cause lung problems. Maybe this explains why I cough each time I step into the shower, and why I have four nodules in my lungs. As if there aren’t enough things to worry about. The pleasure of a simple cleansing shower is now diminished. GIF from GI:

Here are excerpts from a piece at buzzfeed.com by Kristin Chirico, 50 Things You Should Stop Worrying About:
16. That you had that second cookie. I actually just had three, easily rationalized after a demoralizing work day.
19. That you forgot someone’s name and you had to ask them again and now they hate you. It happens so frequently these days that I just smile or nod like an idiot, pretending to know.
30. Your team is going to lose this super-close game. The thought of how depressed I became in the past over sports’ outcomes makes me feel so stupid. Athletes earn a lot of money. They don’t lose.
50. Anything you’ve said or done in the last 24 hours. Too short a span. I lament things I said decades ago.

No luck selling stuff curbside. The chocolate chip cookies didn’t make up for the disappointment.
