Knives Out

This is The Knife Angel, also referred to as the National Monument Against Violence & Aggression, created by artist Alfie Bradley and the British Ironworks Centre, based in Oswestry, England, four hours from London. 27 feet tall, it is made from approximately 100,000 bladed weapons collected through knife amnesty bins from 43 police forces.

The comedy continues, headline from foxnews.com: “Biden aides reportedly discover new batch of classified documents at separate location.” If I believed in karma, I’d say she’s a witch.” Don’t worry, the mainstream media is right on it — not!

The comedy continues, part two, also from FN: “‘NO EXPERIENCE’: Twitter users blast ‘incompetent’ Buttigieg over FAA system meltdown.”

A nypost.com headline: “Democrats’ open-border policy is a deal with the devilish drug cartels.” Cue Metallica: “Sad but true.”

From NYP: “‘Tons’ of food gets tossed daily by NYC hotel because migrants won’t eat it.” I wonder who’s paying for it. Look in the mirror.

So, was the Biden classified material scandal held back until after the midterm elections? I’m sure opinion would fall within the country’s 50–50 divide.

From a newsmax.com article by Nick Koutsobinas: “Steve Kirsch, founder of the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation, said, ‘If the [COVID-19] vaccine is so safe, why won’t anyone in the world bet me $1 million it isn’t?” There’s a link to take Kirsch up on the “legally binding” wager. Now that’s putting your money where your mouth is. Where’s Mousy Fauci?

From an unattributed article at NM: “Nearly 43,000 people were killed on U.S. roads in 2021, the highest number in 16 years… 10.5% jump over 2020.” I wonder if the rise is attributable to legalization of marijuana or simply a blip.

I spent most of today’s session of the floating book shop in the car, out of the cold. The sunshine didn’t show until nearly closing time. My thanks to the three ladies who bought and swapped hardcovers in Russian, and to Crazy Joe, scourge of talk radio hosts, who purchased five thin, paperback textbooks on the problems of teenagers, and Erasing Death: The Science That Is Rewriting the Boundaries Between Life and Death by Sam Parnia & Josh Young, and America in Perspective: Defending the American Dream for the Next Generation by David Sokol & Adam Brandon.
