No Escape

Headline from nypost.com: “Mind over matter: New Yorkers are ditching therapists for psychics: ‘I just kind of gave up’.” “Sim sala bim,” as Karnac the Magnificent would say.

From NYP: “Israel’s intelligence failure is a warning for America’s politicized agencies.” Have any terrorists entered the U.S. at the southern border?… Forced into war, I believe Israel has the best of all world leaders to handle it. Blessings, Sir. I don’t think anything is sadder than the number of Americans supporting Hamas, but it isn’t surprising. Our society is ill. It even seems at times as if we are bent on suicide. Will the mainstream media resurrect “disproportionate response”?

Will RFK’s run as an independent hurt Dems or Republicans? I have no idea. Some pundits will guess right. Talk radio host Mark Simone made two interesting comments on the issue this morning. He believes Dems and the mainstream media may take a break from attacking Trump to go after Junior to drive him from the race, and he said: “Don’t go into politics if you can’t stand the sight of your own blood.” Kudos. Is RFK not liberal enough? LOL. Even his siblings are deriding him.

Always refreshing to see a comedian hit a leftist. Headline from foxnews.com: “Mario Lopez blasts Gov. Newsom for being tougher on ‘Skittles’ than drugs, homelessness.” Kudos, Sir.

It’s been Rocktober so far this month for the floating book shop. May it continue. My thanks to those who donated and bought. Here’s what sold: Blade 2 on DVD, CDs by Judy Collins, Barbra Streisand, and a compilation of Swing; Footprints of the Gods by Greg Iles; Mrs. Jeffries and the Alms of the Angel by Emily Brightwell; Susannah’s Garden by Debbie Macomber; The Revolution Script by Brian Moore; Rage by Jonathan Kellerman; Till We Meet Again by Judith Krantz; books on Judo and Karate; and my own Billionths of a Lifetime. Why I should be so blessed while so many are suffering is beyond me. Long live Israel.
