O Baby!

Not only is the USA importing oil, it is now importing baby formula. I hope a majority of voters realize this is a policies and not leadership problem. A different leftist won’t change things. I fear many folks may simply shrug and accept this as the new normal.

I hadn’t had a vivid dream in a while. I had two this morning. In the first I was having sex with Jennifer Love Hewitt. Since this is a family-friendly blog, I will not go into detail. It involved dining. I have no idea why my mind focused on her, although she was part of a video on the world’s most beautiful women I’d recently watched at youtube. I like her, but there are many I would have selected before her. Why not Raquel, my all-time fav, or Gina Lollobrigida, a close second? In the second dream I was back at the Commodity Exchange, from which I was given the boot in late 2007. Working data entry in the pit during a furious rally, I missed a trade and was ridiculed. How remarkable it is that that crazy place still affects me.

Headline from foxnews.com: “NOT THE BREAST IDEA: ‘Go Topless Jeep Weekend’ results in mass arrests, dozens of injuries.” Who’da thunk it? Gee, I wonder if alcohol was involved. I scanned Google Photos and was disappointed that the only topless folks I spotted are male! False advertising!

Most unsurprising headline of the year, FN: “Liberal media ignores key testimony from Clinton’s former campaign manager.”

New book, published 5/17:

Sub-headline from FN: “At least 70 people have added their names to a waitlist to stay in the same room where Alabama fugitives Vicky White, Casey White spent part of their time on the run.” Is it supposed to be an aphrodisiac?

My thanks to the kind folks who bought, donated and swapped books on this gorgeous day. Here’s what sold: Do What You Are: Discover the Perfect Career for You Through the Secrets of Personality Type by Paul D. Tieger and Barbara Barron-Tieger; DVDs of Taken (2008), For a Few Dollars More (1965), Cutthroat Island (1995), Waterloo (1970), and a season of NCIS; and the soundtrack to Pulp Fiction (1994).
