Another politician has exhibited Trump Derangement Syndrome. From a headline at foxnews.com: “Former Canadian Prime Minister Kim Campbell said Thursday that she wished for Hurricane Dorian to make a “direct hit” on President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.”

Yesterday one of Sean Hannity’s guests threw cold water on the hopes of those who want to see the cabal that conspired against President Trump brought to justice. If any go to trial, he/she will face a jury of peers who live and work in Washington D.C., and will likely be acquitted. I won’t be surprised if the accused are hailed by many as patriots, and thus above law, on the side of the angels, as the left always bills itself. Jim Carrey has tweeted: “This is the day they tried to make patriotism unethical,” and accompanied it with this drawing:

RIP pro football Hall of Famer Jim Langer, 71, center on the Miami Dolphins in their heyday, anchor of the offensive line on the Super Bowl Champions of ’73 & ’74. Undrafted in 1970 out of South Dakota St,, he was signed by Cleveland, cut during training camp, and picked up by Miami, where he would play until 1979. He appeared in 141 straight games until sidelined by a knee injury that ended his stint with the Dolphins. He was a member of the Vikings for two seasons before retiring in ’81. He played in six Pro Bowls (‘73–’78), was named First-team All-Pro three times (’74, ’75, ‘77), Second-team All-Pro three times (’73, ’76, ‘78), and was selected to the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team. In his honor, each year The Jim Langer Award is presented to the nation’s top NCAA Division II lineman. In 2013 President Obama feted the 1972 Perfect Season Dolphins at the White House. Langer did not attend. He said: “We’ve got some real moral compass issues in Washington… I don’t want to be in a room with those people and pretend I’m having a good time. I can’t do that. If that [angers] people, so be it.” Well done, sir. (Facts from Wiki)

My thanks to the woman who asked for something for her 13-year-old son, an aspiring artist. I showed her The Killer Omnibus Volume 1, a graphic novel by Matz and Luc Jacamon, and asked if it were too intense for someone his age, and she said: “Nothing is too intense for him.” My thanks also to the two gentlemen who bought seven DVDs between them, and to the woman who purchased three books in Russian and a Danielle Steel paperback in English; and to Wolf, who took home six books in Russian to pass the time while his wife and grandkids were visiting an amusement park.
