Now quid pro quo is out and bribery is in. What will it be next? Party on Wayne.
According to an article at nypost.com, neither party seems to care about the budget deficit. While tax revenue rose 4% in 2018, spending increased 8%. Where is this heading? Is financial collapse around the corner? Doesn’t it defy logic to believe $23 billion in debt is benign? Man, I hope they spendaholics are right and this old argument is merely alarmism. Party on, Garth.
Sign of the times from a headline at fox.news.com: “Christian pregnancy center to offer contraceptives for first time ever.” And another in an article: “PayPal’s decision to cut ties with the porn company spells trouble for “over a hundred thousand performers” who use Pornhub as a source of income.” Schwing!
I sifted through Lite FM’s playlist for the entirety of yesterday and finally sorted out the song I was seeking. It’s Pink’s Get the Party Started, which is nine years old and less than three-and-a-half minutes long. I’m late to the party. Just when the Cleveland Browns had seemed to right the ship, two key players manage to get suspended for brawling with eight seconds left in a game they led by 14 points. What a black eye for the NFL. I wonder how many players would be violent criminals if not for pro sports, especially football.
