Pop cultural quiz: which U.S. president painted this? I didn’t know about his talent until a recent edition of Antiques Roadshow. Answer below, photo from Google Images:

General Dwight David Eisenhower.

Headline from nypost.com: “50,000 Gazans evacuate south down Israeli humanitarian corridor, IDF says: ‘Hamas has lost control’.” They won’t be human shields, cannon fodder.

Amusing though unsurprising headline from NYP: “Network of ‘sophisticated high-end brothels’ catered to politicians, military officials: feds.” And government contractors — and they did it without Jeffrey Epstein!” How much fun would it be if the latter’s client list were made public?

Good news out of Fla., from NYP: “US Army vet sprints into action, saves pregnant woman from carjacking at Starbucks drive-thru.” Kudos, Sir.

From NYP: “Shoplifting surged whopping 64% in NYC — most of any US city in past 4 years: study.” Anyone surprised?

Headline from newsmax.com: “US Carries Out More Strikes Against Iranian Targets in Syria.” Is this more evidence that WWIII has begun?

Great news in this headline from foxnews.com: “Americans now have access to cancer pill that showed ‘earth-shattering’ results in study.”

Active session of the floating book shop on this mild, cloudy day. My thanks to the kind folks who donated, swapped and bought. Here’s what sold: eleven books in Russian, Storm Front by Jim Butcher; two thrillers by Patricia Cornwell — The Bone Bed and Red Mist; 21st Birthday by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro; The Games by James Patterson; Tick Tock by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge; School of Greatness by Lewis Howes; Higher Status: The New Science of Success and Achievement by Jason Capital; Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts. I am blessed.
