Here’s a foxnews.com headline that illustrates how maddening the news on Corona frequently is: “Ohio Gov. DeWine tests negative for COVID-19 hours after testing positive.

Let’s hope this trend continues, from an article at foxbusinessnews.com: “U.S. payrolls added 1.763 million workers in July as the unemployment rate fell to 10.2%.”

Here’s an interesting headline from FN: “Intel community says Iran seeking to ‘undermine’ Trump, Russia working to ‘denigrate’ Biden in election. Officials also said China ‘prefers’ that Trump ‘does not win reelection.’”

Here’s an amusing “only in America” type headline from FN: “People are renting or buying second homes for office space amid coronavirus pandemic.” It’s encouraging to see some people are doing well in this economy… How ‘bout this FN headline? “Iowa man broke into bank to steal hand sanitizer: Police.”

Yesterday I finally cancelled the order for 23 copies of four of my books, which I put in on June 30th. According to the tracker, it reached a warehouse in Saddle River NJ on July 15th. I communicated online with an Amazon employee and he said under such circumstances the package is considered lost. I redid the order.

My thanks to the young woman who bought two obscure large paperback novels, and to Viktor, who settled his tab; and to the young dad who for the third straight Friday purchased a bunch of books, including several for his beautiful kids, whom he was taking to the park.
