He’s back! Ozzy Osbourne, 73, has returned to the stage after life-altering neck and back surgery. He joined ex-bandmate and fellow legend Tony Iommi, 74, for a rendition Black Sabbath’s iconic Paranoid. Fans at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium went nuts. “… I need someone to show me/ The things in life that I can’t find/ I can’t see the things that make/ True happiness, I must be blind…” — Michael Butler/ Ozzy Osbourne/ Tony Iommi/ William Ward. Welcome back, gentlemen. Photo from Google Images:

More good news, headline from newsmax.com: “25 States Now Have Gas Under $4 a Gallon.” Let’s hope this helps bring the price of groceries down, ridiculous in some cases.

Approximately half the country will approve of the FBI raid on Trump’s Mar a Lago. After six-and-a-half years of fruitless scrutiny, the left is desperate for something that will finally sink his return. Is this it? Perhaps the 1/6 kangaroo court failed to give Dems any kind of boost, therefore the raid. Will they ever run out of bullets?

The breeze wasn’t as refreshing as yesterday, making for a tough session of the floating book shop despite the shade. My thanks to the young man who came along as I was packing up and reversed the return from below to above average, buying the first two novels in The Fifty Shades of Grey series by E. L. James, an art pictorial, Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton, The Gift of the Magi and Other Short Stories by O. Henry, and two by Dostoevsky: The Gambler and The House of the Dead; and to the woman who purchased a kids’ book; and to Sasha’s grandma, who stepped off the bus, shopping cart in tow, and laughed as she saw me. I hadn’t seen her since she moved from the area of Bay Parkway to Coney Island a few years ago. She took home a volume of modern Russian poetry and two kids’ books. Her mom passed away recently at 94. I used to chuckle when she used to look over her shoulder to make sure her mother wasn’t around to see her buying yet another book.

Heatwave begone!
