“All the news that’s fit to print.” Headline from nypost.com: “NY Times shocks readers with story ranking ‘five best clitoral vibrators’ using ‘150 hours of research’.” I wonder if the editor asked for volunteers and how many staff members hands were raised.
Why isn’t this a big deal? Headline from newsmax.com: “Illicit Chinese-Run Virus Lab Found in Calif. Warehouse.”
Johnathan Isaac was the only team member of the Orlando Magic to stand for the national anthem during a 2020 protest. Headline from foxnews.com: “NBA player Jonathan Isaac launches anti-woke, pro-Christian alternative to Nike: ‘Our values are valid’.” According to the article by Amy Nelson, he is developing his own apparel brand inscribed with faith-based messaging. In four seasons, the Bronx-born player, 25, has averaged nine PPG and 5.3 RPG. He is currently earning $17.4 million per season in racist America. Kudos.
RIP Betty Ann Bruno, 91. At age seven she played a munchkin in The Wizard of Oz (1939), her only screen credit. For more than two decades she was an investigative reporter in California. She was a mom of three, and is survived by her husband. Here she is with her book: The Munchkin Diary: My Personal Yellow Brick Road. Photo from GI:
