Holy coitus interruptus, Batman! — headline from nypost.com: “81-person French orgy broken up for violating COVID-19 curfew.” And here’s one that takes shrinkage to its lowest degree: “Strongman buried in 600 lbs. of ice for nearly three hours.”
From an article at NYP, edited by yours truly: Morgan Wallen, 27, has been disqualified from performing at or receiving any recognition during the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards. He was last year’s Best New Artist. He has also been suspended indefinitely by his record label. His radio airplay has taken a major hit, dropping 80%. Cumulus Media and iheart radio have instructed their stations to stop playing his music. Why? He was caught on video saying the N word during a night of drinking. He has apologized. If his music is banned, why isn’t all music that features the term banned as well? Why the selective outrage? Why is it okay to profit from its use?
Here’s a quote by Denzel Washington, featured in an article at newsmax.com: “I have the utmost respect for what (police) do, for what our soldiers do, (people) that sacrifice their lives. I just don’t care for people who put those kind of people down. If it weren’t for them, we would not have the freedom to complain about what they do.” Kudos, sir. Hope there’s no blowback.

From an article at FN, edited by yours truly: YouTube has censored a video about a widely available drug that early studies show may help treatment and prevention of Covid-19. In a study done in Argentina, 800 healthcare workers received Ivermectin (in use since 1981), while another 400 did not. Of the 800, not a single person contracted COVID-19, while more than half of the 400 did. It is widely available and costs 20 bucks. A Republican senator suggests companies that charge $3200 for Remdesivir want to squash any news about less expensive options. The article contains no rebuttal from YouTube. Is it playing politics? As the kid said to Shoeless Joe Jackson in Eight Men Out (1988)): “Say it ain’t so...” Cite a valid reason for censoring the info. I love YouTube and don’t want to believe it is behaving despicably on this issue.
