She earns $174,000 plus benefits. She is only one of a number of fellow socialists looking for a free ride from taxpayers. Greed comes in many forms.
There are always surprises in this topsy-turvy world. When I heard that Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and Nils Lofgren pulled their music from Spotify to protest the presence of Joe Rogan, I assumed he was, if not conservative, right of center. Not! At one point he actually endorsed socialist Bernie Sanders! He’s a liberal who allowed folks with contrary views on his podcast. The musicians went after one of their own, bless their totalitarian hearts.
Here’s another story the mainstream media will likely ignore, headline from newsmax.com: “Hunter, Business Partners’ Records Subpoenaed in 2019 Over China Deals.” The Biden crime family laughs all the way to the bank.
I was lucky with parking this morning, moving one space from the perfect spot for the floating book shop. I played it safe, putting out only 20% of the wares, and there was just enough sunshine to allow me to put two hours into the endeavor despite the cold. My thanks to young Abdullah, who overcompensated me for a hardcover on healthy living, Roget’s Thesaurus, Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper; another work of non-fiction whose title escapes me; and a translation of Balzac in Russian.
