Songs Remain the Same
Congratulations to the Biden administration for the raid that prompted the leader of Isis to blow up himself and his family. Well done.
Cancel culture madness continues, headline from nypost.com: “‘Masked Singer’ judges walk off in protest after Rudy Giuliani appears.” The show had not yet aired and, unfortunately, the Mayor’s costume has not been revealed. Here’s one from a pervious episode:
While I sit on the sidelines in the great culture war in which Americans are engaged, some folks are fighting back against what seems to me the inevitability of liberal domination. As I’ve said many times, the left has been winning in a rout since at least FDR. Most people shrug and adjust to the new normals. Not so some folks. From an article by Dana Kennedy at nypost.com: “A casual group of moms who got together in secret last summer to discuss what they felt was increasing and alarming “wokeness” in NYC private schools has morphed over the past six months into a stealth guerrilla powerhouse. The organization has a core of about 25 mother activists who preside over a network of more than a hundred undercover mothers from LA to Texas to Miami…” …In the same vein, an article by Doree Lewak profiles an anonymous woman who quit her job and now uses social media to expose the woke abuses of teachers. She has more than a half-million followers and tens of millions of views in less than a year. Among her targets: a college professor accused of soft-pedaling pedophilia, a middle school teacher gleefully threatening to “throw a child at you,” an English teacher steering students to pledge their allegiance to a gay pride banner after secretly stowing the American flag… Also in this regard, headline from newsmax.com: “4 NYC Blacks Sue City for Giving Noncitizens a Vote.” I wonder if 90% support the radical measure, which would approximate the usual election breakdown of Black voting.
It’s only money. From NM: “Labor Unions Received $36.7M in PPP Loan Fraud.” Government business as usual. No one would be surprised.
From an NM article by Peter Malnin, edited by yours truly: In 2003 Bush II nominated black conservative Janice Rogers Brown to the District of Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals, which has produced more Supreme Court justices than any other federal court. Quid Pro Joe filibustered her nomination.
Will Johns Hopkins, one of the most respected colleges in America, especially in the medical field, now be targeted by leftists for its findings on the damage done by lockdowns?
The floating book shop was rained out today, and tomorrow promises the same. At least it’s not snow.
