Spring Cleaning
Headline from nypost.com: “Philadelphia to pay pregnant women $1K per month: ‘Solvable crisis’.” I wonder if some would then get a “free” abortion.
Figure this out, from NYP: “Hypocrite Biden blocks mineral mining his clean-energy goals require.” Maybe he has a magic, carbonless fuel formula.
Courthey Cox did some Spring cleaning recently. Photo from Google Images:
An NYP headline so amusing it must be satire: “Hunter Biden used FBI mole named ‘One-Eye’ to tip him off to China probes: tipster.” Sounds like something out of Get Smart.
Is it possible that convicted felon Michael Cohen, disbarred from the practice of law in New York, has perjured himself in his testimony against Trump? Will he again be arrested and jailed? Wow.
RIP screenwriter/producer Norman Steinberg, 83. Born in Brooklyn, he earned a law degree at Pitt. He didn’t like being a lawyer and turned to writing, encouraged by Mel Brooks. His career spanned 1972–2022. There are 32 titles under his name in the category of writer, 21 of producer. He co-wrote the screenplay for Blazing Saddles (1974) with Brooks, Andrew Bergman and Alan Uger. It won a Bafta. He co-wrote My Favorite Year (1982) with Dennis Palumbo. He won an Emmy, shared with six others, for Outstanding Writing Achievement in Variety or Music for Flip, as in Wilson (1970). To my chagrin, I was unable to find the high school he attended. Thanks for the laughs, Sir. Photo from GI:
