Bipartisanship. Headline from nypost.com: “Jeffrey Epstein said if he revealed ‘what I know about both candidates’ 2016 election would have to be canceled: brother.” For those who don’t know, Trump banned Epstein from Mar a Lago in the early ’90s because of offensive behavior. As usual, he was way ahead of the field.

From NYP: “‘How could we not come?’ American Jews flock to Israel to help.” Actually, they’re coming from all over the world, usually for four days, according to the article by Mayrav Saar. “New York financiers pack personal hygiene supplies for soldiers and reservists. Canadian physicians make sandwiches for displaced families. California attorneys work as farmhands.” Kudos.

This Chappaqua, NY mansion is available for $1.9 million. Looks like a steal for folks who prefer suburban living. Photo from NYP:

This NYP headline sounds like fodder for sitcoms: “Couple forced to ‘doo’ the unthinkable after dog gobbles $4K in cash: ‘Only one way to get that money back’.” Ewwwwww!

I’d read where sales of electric cars were slowing. This NYP headline seems to refute that: “Tesla beats estimates and breaks deliveries record in Q4.”

From NYP: “It’s not just Trump: Democrats are moving to bar Republicans from ballots nationwide.” Of course, Dems who have and still question the results of elections are exempt. And the insurrection at the southern border is fine too.

Headline from newsmax.com: “San Francisco Installs Nets to Stop Golden Gate Bridge Suicides.” 20 feet down, made of stainless steel, landing on it will be painful. Photo from Google Images:

The Circle channel, 2–5 on OTA in NYC, has been replaced by Comet, which features speculative and sci-fi fare. Four episodes of The X-Files run each night, two too many, but an excellent viewing option. Last night I watched 15 & 16 from season one. I was so happy I had no recollection of either. Both were very good, outside the arc, whose episodes I intend to avoid.

I ran across a jaunty tune at youtube: “Harry Roy and His Orchestra My Girls Pussy 1931.” I wonder if an artist today would be allowed to get away with it. Was it performed on Epstein’s private island?

Headline from foxnews.com: “Top deputy for special counsel Jack Smith helped scuttle three FBI investigations into the Clintons.” I’m shocked — shocked!

Limited sunshine and a stiff breeze kept me confined to the car at today’s session of the floating book shop. My thanks to the woman who donated three kids’ books, and to the one who bought The Chocolate Pirate Plot: A Chocoholic Mystery by JoAnna Carl; and to the one who purchased a hardcover in Russian and The Dictionary of Symbolism: Culture Icons and the Meanings Behind Them by Hans Biedermann; and to the young man who took home A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway and a collection of the works of Honore de Balzac.
