Attention those dreaming of entrepreneurship, here’s one way to go. Headline from nypost.com: “I bought a vending machine for $250, and I’m shocked how much money I’ve made.”

Headline from newsmax.com: “Rep. Matt Gaetz: Fetterman Makes Biden Look Like Churchill.” Kudos, sir.

Troubling sign, headline from foxnews.com: “Russia recruits Afghan commandos to bolster forces in Ukraine: ‘Surprising’ effect of US military drawdown.”

Finally some good news for the Dems: third quarter GDP increased 2.6%.

My new work, either a novella or novel, is now into its fourth handwritten page. The most difficult aspect will be getting the dates right. Although set in the present, characters may have lived a previous life, unbeknownst to them. A 50-year-old guy would have to have died circa 1982. How old were other characters at that time? Also, I’m not sure the past lives aspect will be stated as fact. I may make it merely a possibility readers will have to decide on. I don’t have a title yet. Present and Past fits, but I’ve already used it for another novel. I also want the work to be totally different than one of my short stories on the subject, Nowak’s Dreams. As usual when starting a new work, ideas come hot and heavy. I took notes while working today.

It was beautiful but breezy at today’s session of the floating book shop. My thanks to the gentleman who bought a pictorial on the Kennedy family, a Larry Doby bio and a Marilyn Monroe documentary on VHS; and to The Frenchman, who purchased Sophocles’ Three Theban Plays and The Widow Clicquot: The Story of a Champagne Empire and the Woman Who Ruled It by Tilar J Mazzeo; and to Wolf, who donated a few titles in Russian.
