Snow Moon, Sliema, Malta. Reuters photo by Darrin Zammit Lupi. Wait — is that Baron Michel Scicluna in silhouette?

Constitutional crisis — run for your life!

This morning talk radio host Mark Simone mentioned that what the Dems really fear is a “Threat to Bureaucracy.” Kudos.

I was hoping RFK Jr. wouldn’t be confirmed and I’m surprised he has been. Time to move on.

“Curiouser and curiouser,” as Alice said (Lewis Carroll). Headline from nypost.com: “Busting out of their shell: NYC bodegas selling ‘loosie’ eggs as bird flu causes prices of cartons to skyrocket.” I wonder if there would have been any “eggin’” at these prices on Halloween back in the day.

Another megalomaniac. Headline from newsmax.com: “Bishop Suggested Excommunicating Catholic Backers of Trump Border Policies.” Get over yourself. “Anything further, father?” Horsefeathers (1932), screenplay by Bert Kalmar/ Harry Ruby/ S.J. Perelman, photo from Google Images, Zeppo & Groucho Marx:

From Which 25 rock albums have sold the most copies all-time? by Jeff Mezydlo at msm.com. The top five, tie at the fifth spot. Only the fourth surprises me. I would have guessed its position as in the twenties:
Their Greatest Hits, Eagles (1976), 38 million.
Thriller, Michael Jackson (1982), 34 million.
Hotel California, Eagles (1975), 26 million.
Back in Black, AC/DC (1980), 25 million.
Led Zeppelin IV (1971), 24 million.
The Beatles (White Album) (1968), 24 million.

The weather continues to be a nuisance to the Anti-Inflation Book Shop. For the third straight session it was Plan B (much less stuff), which today included setting up at the viaduct, as the mist persisted well beyond the forecast timeframe. My thanks to the gregarious gentleman who purchased a piece of costume jewelry. Hey — it wasn’t cold and most of the accumulated snow has melted, so there’s no reason to complain.
