Tutti Santi

My mom called All Saints Day Tutti Santi. Just one of the thousands of things I remember about her. Photo from Google Images:

What war? Ukraine kids having fun, old Soviet jet monument in background, photo from the guardian.com:

Does this nypost.com headline from the nation’s leading liberal bastion signal anything in terms of the election?: “Anti-vax protesters chant ‘F–k Joe Biden’ at NYC Halloween parade.” How ‘bout this one?: “Late to the party: Why these NYC Dems are backing Republican Zeldin for gov.” And this: “‘We need results’: Latino supermarket owners back Lee Zeldin with $70K fundraiser as crime surges.” I’m as doubtful as St. Thomas. I’ll believe it when I see it. Will the one percent Zeldin lead negate chicanery in early voting? Will the thousands who have left the state of New York, fed up with liberal policies, likely Zeldin voters, be a non-factor? Another aspect that gives hope to the right is that Dems are panicking, hoping their outright lies will not be called out by the mainstream media. Quid Pro Joe claimed gas was five bucks a gallon when he took office. And other candidates have resurrected the accusation that Republicans will cut Social Security if they take power. Imagine, SNL has lampooned Biden in consecutive weeks.

Another gem from the Staten Island goombah:

I’m now 20 pages into my latest novella/novel, titled Coincidence unless a better one comes to mind. I also haven’t decided if there will be a question mark after the word. My goal is to get to 200 pages, but I don’t want any filler. There will be three facets of villainy.

My thanks to Mother Nature, who moved the rain out, enabling a full session of the floating book shop; and to Andy F-Bomb, who donated three pictorials; and to Ira, who bought them; and to Oliver/Revilo, who came by on his bike and picked up a work of non-fiction I’ve kept on ice for him: Political Ponerology: A Science on the Nature of Evil Adjusted for Political Purposes by Andrew M. Lobaczewski and Laura Knight-Jadczyk.
