Visits

The Pentagon has confirmed that leaked images of a UFO are genuine. Is this finally proof that we have been visited by aliens, or is it simply unexplained phenomena or a secret project? Stay tuned.

Facebook, a wing of the Democrat party, has again shown its bias by preventing people from sharing a NY Post article. Will I boycott the site? No. I visit to see what relatives, friends and acquaintances are doing. Since my presence on Twitter, which has also banned the story, was strictly mercenary, solely for the free publicity it allowed my books, I walked away months ago and haven’t missed it at all. I would miss not being on Facebook. If that makes me a hypocrite, so be it:

Duck, my fellow Americans — it’s a shooting gallery out there. Maybe we should be wearing bulletproof vests as well as masks. It is legal to wear one in NY unless one has been convicted of a felony. It would make a great gift for a visit from St. Nick, but by December it may be too late.

I had sense enough to bundle up today, as the wind was as stiff as usual along Avenue Z and there wasn’t much sunshine to diminish its effect. I bailed a half hour early, annoyed by the occasional spritz from the sky, by the bad weather of late. My thanks to the woman who donated two large paperback mysteries, and to the one who bought two books in Russian; and to the one who selected a Goldilocks kids book; and to the gentleman who purchased a collection of Shakespeare comedies in Russian, Steam Train Dream Train Sound Book by Sherri Duskey Rinker and Tom Lichtenheld, and the massive Encyclopedia of Tropical Fishes for Freshwater Aquariums by Glen Axelrod and Brian Scott, one of the heaviest tomes I’ve ever sold, filled with hundreds of color photos.
