I wonder if leftists are feeling sentimental about the USSR’s May Day parades. Maybe just mental. May Day celebration, Stroud, UK. Photo by Ben Stansall/AFP/Getty, posted at theguardian.com:

Finally some good news on the protest front. Headline from nypost.com: “NYC, can you see: NYPD raises American flag on City College campus in stunning moment after busting anti-Israel protesters.” Yay! Kudos to those in blue — no injuries or altercations. Here’s a shot of cops entering Columbia’s Hamilton Hall, occupied by protesters. Reuters photo by Caitlin Ochs:

For those keeping score at home, from NYP: “Biden has made 148 mistakes in public remarks so far this year: report.”

Fodder for sci-fi writers, from NYP: “Asteroid hunters spot 27,500 overlooked near-Earth asteroids — more than were discovered by all of the world’s telescopes last year.” Look out below.

Cake and eat it too. Headline from foxnews.com: “Student gets reality check after saying anti-Israel rioters might die without food delivery.” Earth to protesters — there may be a deli within a quick walk. Photo from Google Images. I believe Bill O’Reilly is behind it:

Reminder of who the enemy is. From FN: “Chinese money laundering criminals team up with Mexican cartels to menace US.” I guess the cartels think there’s enough Americans so that their nefarious businesses, especially the distribution of fentanyl, won’t be affected by all the deaths.

May got off to a slow start for the Anti-Inflation Book Shop, despite gorgeous weather. My thanks to Wolf, who bought The Templar Salvation by Raymond Khoury.
