Amid regional tensions, life goes on in Tel Aviv. AFP via Getty Images, posted at standard.co.uk:

Partial victory for slimes, headline from nypost.com: “Swift response: Taylor Swift concerts canceled after ISIS plot narrowly foiled by police.”

Elon Musk continues to champion the First Amendment. Headline from NYP: “X fights for free speech against GARM and its (utterly fake) disinfo war.” GARM is the acronym for the ironically titled Global Alliance for Responsible Media. Excerpt from the editorial: “Disinformation is a term of art that usually means ‘facts that are inconvenient for Democrats.’” In the same vein, caption from an NYP editorial: “Tech desk: How the Left Took Over Wikipedia.” My donations were only a pittance, but the site will never again get money from me.

Here’s another reason why I believe DT won’t win. Excerpt from NYP editorial: Nonprofit Vot-ER “has helped more than 50,000 doctors register their patients to vote,” thereby “leading a movement” that’s “turning health care centers into political battlegrounds,” warns The Washington Free Beacon’s Aaron Sibarium. “Vot-ER claims to be nonpartisan,” but “is staffed by progressive operatives” and “funded by progressive foundations.” Never underestimate the left’s ability to mine votes. Doctor’s make a mint from Medicare and Medicaid, so it’s no surprise who they would side with. It’s not only the mainstream media, social media, Hollywood, Academia, several corporate boardrooms and mail-in voting that DT must overcome, it’s now MDs as well. Side bar: all 24 candidates backed by Trump in recent primaries won. Does that mean anything regarding the November election? I have no idea.

Headline from foxnews.com: “18 DAYS: Kamala Harris has not held a press conference since emerging as Dem nominee.”

From FN: “Steve Martin refuses Tim Walz role on ‘SNL’ despite pleas from fans.” Interesting, but I have no idea what to make of it. I’ve always enjoyed the wild and crazy guy, although I suspect his politics are the exact opposite of mine. Photo from Google Images:

I took a chance and set up the Anti-Inflation Book Shop at a nearby viaduct. It immediately began pouring. 20 minutes later the rain slacked off, so I stayed for almost a full session. There were several browsers but only one buyer. My thanks to the woman who purchased Abraham Lincoln’s Greatest Speeches. Not much, but still better than staying home all day.
