Zippin’ Along

How ‘bout this pic from Google Images, converted from a WEBP file to JPG at cloudconvert.com, which is similar to sites that convert a Word file to Adobe and vice versa? People ride bikes on a zip line next to a 240-meter-long glass bridge over the Tsalka canyon in the country of Georgia, near its capital Tbilisi:

Headline from nypost.com: “Two former US servicemen captured in Ukraine after ‘absolutely crazy’ mission: report.” The intel was wrong, the Russian force large. The men are from Alabama.

It will be tough to top this headline in today’s news. From NYP: “How Ben & Jerry’s plans on getting their cows to stop farting, burping.” The pair are concerned about the tons of greenhouse gases emitted by bovine and hope a change in diet will result in less. I hope it will apply to the two ice cream gasbags themselves.

Some good news, headline from newsmax.com: “Senior ISIS Leader Captured in US-Led Military Raid in Syria.” It would be even better if he talks.

Never fails when pols up the threat, headline from NM: “Small Gun Makers Boom as US Demand Soars.”

Headline from foxnews.com: “Former Rep. Corrine Brown announces run for Congress after pleading guilty to tax fraud.” She served two years of a five-year sentence. Impeccable credentials.

The rain cleared out and the floating book shop was a go. My thanks to Herbie, who donated three marketable paperbacks, and to the gentleman who bought Cars (2006) on DVD; and the one who purchased Shrek 2&3 (2004 & 2007), Aladdin (1992) and The Return of Jafar (1994); and to Dave and Candy, who delivered a bunch of cookbooks.
